Domaine de Thalie

Peter Giersewski created his estate 10 years ago in the town of Bray in Macônnais.

He now cultivates 4.5 hectares in organic farming divided between the local grape varieties Chardonnay and Gamay, Pinot Noir but also Syrah.

Its hillside vines rise to an altitude of 400 meters and benefit from a beautiful exposure.

A balance between freshness and generosity of the fruit that the winemaker masters perfectly in his vats.

The winegrower’s passion for geology has brought him to an increased knowledge of his terroir and its structure. A mosaic of marl, limestone, limestone calf’s liver offers it a wonderfull playground to let its different grape varieties flourish and reveal their best expressions.

Between biodynamics and geobiology, the Domaine de Thalie invites us to a real reflection on our connection to nature.
